Wedding At Redlibbets Golf Club
Redlibbets Golf Club first opened in 1997, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty making it is a fantastic spot for a wedding. Unlike some golf clubs that host weddings Redlibbets very much felt like a purpose built wedding venue.
The day began at the couples home for bridal prep before heading to Redlibbets for the ceremony and reception. The weather stayed fine, a rarity over the rainy 2024 (and 2023) summer. This amazing couple never stopped smiling it was a fabulous day.
Favourite Moment
The wedding service was one of the most relaxed I have photographed in a long time. The couple could not stop laughing and smiling, it was fantastic to see and to photograph. I cannot remember what caused this moment of laughter with the bride, guests and registrar in hysterics but it is one of my favourite images from the day.
LIghtly Posed Photos
Most couples that book me want a largely unposed wedding day. That way they can have a great time without wasting hours posing, but often they still want a handful of quick lightly posed photos. We can easily get these done in about 10 minutes and keep it relaxed and simple. This is a great example of me asking the couple just to have a walk and make each other laugh.
Why Did I Take This Photo?
Over the day I try to photograph all the details such as the rings, the dress and the flowers as candidly as possible. That way the couple get to see those details in situ on the day. This is a great example of the detail on the back of the brides wedding dress. The photo was taken quickly as I walked past during the drinks reception without the bride having to pose, she would not have been aware the photo was taken.
